We do get nice big drummettes.

I plan to roast or grill most of these whole birds, and there isn’t enough meat on the backs, necks or wings to make those parts worth eating when the whole bird is roasted or grilled.  So I save the wing tips, necks and backs for making broth, along with the feet, and the first two joints of the wings for buffalo wing night.

Natter helped out with bagging the birds for the freezer.
