Goats

Drat your hides!  See that fence behind you?

You’re supposed to be on the OTHER SIDE!!

Think you’re funny, don’t’cha?

The goats are going to a new home.  We’re giving them away to another family that wants them for weed control.

We’ll hopefully have this place re-seeded, re-fenced, and ready for livestock by this fall.  Right now, we simply don’t have the right fencing or facilities for these two Houdinis, and they are taking full advantage of it.

We’ll have a nice break from goat poop on the porch, goats trying to bust in the glass door – they’ve been fighting their reflections – and goats eating down the iris bed and trying to destroy the berries!  Our next goats will be younger and milkable.

Bye-bye, you ol’ goats!

About dep31

I am a farm-raised homeschooling mom. I take great joy in making nutritious food that inspires people to take seconds. Thirds, anyone? We are a God-fearing, Christ worshiping family that enjoys good friends and good eats. If the kitchen is clean and the living room carpet is visible, then that's a nice bonus.
