In case you were wondering…

… No, I have not fallen off the face of the planet.

We’ve had our own little whooping cough outbreak here.  While the kids have appreciated the fact that they have plenty of energy during the day, and only really hack and gag at night, this has NOT been to their parents’ advantage.

If I’m going to have sick kids, then they should be sleeping extra during the day, right??  C’mon, every mom knows that the one benefit to sick kids is that the house is quieter for a few days, yes?

Not so with this one, folks.  They bounce off the walls during the day and keep you up at night.  For weeks.

We’ve all had our antibiotics and have been deemed “non-contagious” by the health authorities.

On TOP of all of this, I have a raging case of morning sickness, and have had it for four weeks.  Yes, we are now expecting #4.  I will be excited about this as soon as I get past the nausea.  Stay posted for said excitement any week now.

I’ve always said, I love being a mom, but pregnancy is for the birds.  If I could have my children delivered any way I chose, I’d choose Fed-Ex.

About dep31

I am a farm-raised homeschooling mom. I take great joy in making nutritious food that inspires people to take seconds. Thirds, anyone? We are a God-fearing, Christ worshiping family that enjoys good friends and good eats. If the kitchen is clean and the living room carpet is visible, then that's a nice bonus.
