A couple of weeks ago, the delightful Mrs. D passed some puppets on to us.
Natter and Rosebud declared that evening that they would put on a puppet show. The Moose was willing to be entertained by their impromptu act.
Then he got interested in the mechanics, shall we say, of how the show was being done.
This was a bit distracting to our performers, who nevertheless soldiered on with their play.
This lasted for approximately twelve seconds, until the Moose decided that if he couldn’t join them, he’d just eat them.
Given the volume and number of protests that this idea engendered, he decided that it might behoove him to see precisely how many defenders he was up against.
… but on the way, he was distracted.
The other member of the targeted audience wasn’t all that focused on the performance, either.
… so the puppets have been put away, and future scripts are still being revised.
I do get to occasionally see parts of impromptu rehearsals.
